Goody Nut Shop workers stage a sit-down strike, March 1937.
Not all of the sit-down strikes of 1937 involved industrial workers. In fact a large number were staged by women who worked as counter clerks, hotel workers and waitresses, such as the ladies of the Goody Nut Shop, a concessions shop that was adjacent to the Fox Theater.
