(30614) National Urban League's Equal Opportunity Day Award

AFSCME President Jerry Wurf speaks at the National Urban League’s Equal Opportunity Day Award banquet. AFSCME received this award for its role in the successful 1968 sanitation workers’ strike in Memphis during which Martin Luther King was assassinated. President Lyndon Johnson later attended and spoke at the banquet.
