Bernie Firestone, Michigan State AFL-CIO President Frank Garrison and Detroit Mayor Coleman Young march in Detroit’s annual Labor Day Parade. Firestone was the parade’s Grand Marshall that year, as ACTWU celebrated 75 years of progress.
