A view of the Stellarton Miners Memorial, located in Pictou County, Nova Scotia. The monument commemorates the lives of men lost in area mines, including: the Allan Mine Explosions of 1914, 1918, 1924, and 1935; The Fort Pit explosions and flooding of 1880. Added after this snapshot was taken were the names of men killed in the McGregor Mine explosion of 1952 and the Westray Mine Disaster of 1992.
