Representatives of the three teacher unions in Chicago. Individual unknown, man on far right is Irwin Kuenzli, Secretary-Treasurer of the AFT. The unions were Chicago Teachers Federation local 1, Men’s Teacher Federation local 2, and Women High School Federation local 3. They formed Chicago Teachers Union Local 1, the first group of locals to integrate based on sex.
