Samuel Kellman collaborated with Thomas Harris and Gartha Williams in articles published in The World concerning Father Charles E. Coughlin, and assisted in the Detroit Free Press’ defense against Father Coughlin’s libel suit. Mr. Kellman’s papers reflect his interest in the nature of fascism, racism, and the affairs of the Catholic Church; and relate to Father Coughlin and the activities of fascist and anti-Semitic groups in Europe and the United States.
