He edited The Lampmaker, the plant’s union paper,<br /> published by UAW Local 663. After he retired from Guide Lamp, he went on to edit the<br /> newsletter for the Midwest Labor Press Association. He was an active member of the<br /> labor press throughout his life.</p> <p>His papers reflect his participation in various labor press association conferences, and his<br /> years as a news editor. The collection is made up of correspondence, conference<br /> materials, and news clippings.
