Much of the material is from the tenure of Jessica Govea,<br /> a close associate of Cesar Chavez. Her work directing boycotts in Canada helped the<br /> union win one of its first contracts with a California grape grower and ultimately settle<br /> with the entire industry. The records include correspondence, memos, flyers and<br /> advertisements, press releases, clippings and newsletters.
