Winthrop Yinger served as the Executive Director of the Fresno Area Council of Churches and the Fresno Area Migrant Workers and in the English Department of Fresno State College, where he established a repository of materials related to the farm worker movement. Mr. Yinger's papers relate to Cesar Chavez and the San Joaquin Valley Farm Workers Collection of Fresno State College.
