




Irish weavers demonstrate how to spin wool at the Gaelic League, Detroit, Michigan.
Formed on December 9, 1920 with the intention to assist Irish immigrants find jobs and housing and provide a venue to socialize, the Gaelic League later turned its focus towards promoting Irish heritage and remains one of Detroit's oldest and most beloved social clubs.
