Don Wasserman, Director of Research and Collective Bargaining Services, and Lee Saunders. Saunders began his career with AFSCME International as a labor economist and later moved up to Assistant Director of the Research and Collective Bargaining Services department, among other roles. He became President of AFSCME in 2012. Wasserman was hired as Director of Research in 1967 and became Director of Research and Collective Bargaining Services after departmental changes in 1977 until 1995.
