Posted March 28th, 2014 by eclemens
Five Wobblies stand outside the Everett, Washington IWW Hall, possibly in 1916. The woman at far left is Edith Frenette, an I.W.W. organizer and participant in the Everett, Missoula, and Spokane Free Speech Fights.
In the hall window are displayed copies of Industrial Worker, Solidarity, The Little Red Songbook, signs advertising IWW newspapers in Finnish and a sign proclaiming the "Second Big Smoker of the Season! -- Saturday December 30 -- IWW Hall -- Boxing!"
Vaudeville was to accompany the occasion, with ringside seats going for 50 cents.
