Archivist Spotlight: SEIU Archivist Alexandra Orchard

In 1992, the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) selected the Walter P. Reuther Library as the official repository for its archives and records. SEIU, the fastest-growing union in North America, focuses on uniting workers in the sectors of healthcare, property services, and public services. Alexandra Orchard has been the SEIU Archivist for the Reuther Library since 2012. She regularly contributes essays on the union's history to the SEIU blog. Links to her articles are collected here.
