Snapshot of IWW organizer and publicist Byron Kitto with other patients at the Duarte Sanitarium, outside of Los Angeles, California. Kitto was being treated for tuberculosis that he contracted during the Colorado Coal Strike. He died of the disease March 14, 1931, at age 30.
