(4836) Harlan County Coal War, William Burnett, Trial, Kentucky, 1930s

William "Bill" Burnett stands outside of a courthouse, presumably during his trial. Burnett, a striking miner, was shot by Jesse Pace, a sheriff's deputy. Burnett returned fire, and killed Pace. He was acquitted of the murder charge at trial.
