An unidentified speaker addresses the audience at an IWW meeting. On stage are dozens of women who wear sashes bearing the word “ARRESTED” or “Workhouse Prisoner.” Signs line the room and read: “An injury to one is the concern of all,” “Police are for our protection not our abuse,” “A striker is not a criminal,” “Peaceful picketing is the right of every worker” and “Average daily amount of bail + bonds= $2500.”
