




Mr. Slinkard was a charter member of UAW Local 25 at the General Motors plant in St. Louis, Missouri. He later joined the staff of UAW Region 5, and, at retirement had worked for ten years for the Wage-Contract section of the UAW's Research Department. Correspondence, reports, clippings, and other documents cover nearly every phase of Mr. Slinkard's career, with emphasis on the latter years.
