(32256) First World War, Return of Troops, 339th Division, Polar Bears, Detroit, 1919

Soldiers of the 339th Infantry, known as the Polar Bears, march in formation upon their return to Detroit from the Eastern Front. The parade ended at Belle Isle, where the men were met with a heroes welcome and a 4th of July celebration.
