Captain Harry W. Wilson goes over the basics with students of the Santa Claus Training School. The newly minted Santas were part of a campaign by the Volunteers of America to raise funds for Christmas baskets and winter relief work.

Chalkboard reads: "Your CREED--You are a personal representative of St. Nicholas bringing a message of good cheer to everyone everywhere. BE COURTEOUS, GENIAL, AND KIND TO ALL CHILDREN."
