A view of a sleeping car at a prison colony in Orange County, Florida. In view are three prisoners and two bunks.
Inscribed on the back of the photo: “Happy Bird is a returned hero - Has silver tubes for bowels - Coconut testicles - and incapacitated for any kind of work. Remains locked in cage except Sundays - He wonders about the liberty he fought for.”
