A portrait of IWW organizer James Thompson taken prior to his incarceration at Leavenworth Prison. Thompson was a founding member of the organization, and a well-known speaker on behalf of the IWW. He was involved with the Spokane Free Speech Fight, the Lawrence Strike, and Everett Massacre.
