A crowd of approximately 7,000 turn out on the streets of Virginia, Minnesota to view of the funeral procession of John Allars. Allars, a mner and member of the IWW, was murdered in his home by gunmen in the early morning hours of June 22, 1916 during the Mesaba Range Strike.
