




John Collier (1874-1947) was interested in various socialist, radical,
liberal, and anarchist causes, and was a life-long student of philosophy,
theology, mysticism, and psychic phenomena. Phyllis Feningston
Collier was John Collier's secretary and life-long companion who was
active in the labor movement. Collection consists of images collected
by Phyllis Collier. Emphasis is on John Collier and his activities, such
as his brief acting career, but also included are photographs of friends
and family of both Phyllis and John.
