Changes to Reuther search starting Monday, August 17, 2026

On Monday, August 17, the Reuther Library QuickSearch is being retired. QuickSearch was a locally developed application that has served the university for many years, but its aging codebase and limited documentation have made it increasingly difficult to maintain.

While we work on integrating discovery systems into Summon, the primary discovery search we plan to use in the future, our collections can be searched separately using the tabbed search box near the top of our website.

ArchivesSpace – Search our finding aids, descriptions of archival collections that help researchers locate relevant material.

Digital Collections – Search our digitized materials, including photos, select manuscript material and maps.

Library Catalog – Search the library catalog for Reuther collections.

Our blogs and podcasts may still be searched using the Advanced Site Search in the upper right corner or using the direct Blog and Podcasts links in ribbon along the top of our site.
