Jack Barbash held positions in the federal government, the labor movement, and academia, serving in departments such as the U.S. Office of Education, the Department of Labor, and the National Labor Relations Board. Mr. Barbash served as Research and Education Director for the Amalgamated Meat Cutters Union and for the American Federation of Labor-Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) Industrial Union, and served a term as president of the American Association of University Professors University of Wisconsin branch.
