Robert Mills was a member of various United Auto Workers (UAW) locals, including Local 155, where he served as chairman of various committees and on the Executive Board. Mr. Mills served as the first Chairman of the International Skilled Trades Advisory Committee, as Assistant Director of the UAW Skilled Trades Department, and as a representative to the International Staff. Mr. Mills' papers relate to his career in the UAW and include materials concerning the use of numerical control equipment.
