




Clippings, reports, correspondence, and reports of articles relating to writings and other activities of Willard S. Townsend, founder and president of the International Brotherhood of Red Caps (1938), which later became the United Transport Service Employees (CIO). The collection has material on Mr. Townsend and also on civil rights, blacks in labor and the Korean War, and history of the UTSE.
