An exterior view of Temple Beth El, located at Woodward and Erskine, prior to its renovation into the Mayfair and Bonstelle Theatres. The Beaux-Arts style synagogue was built by Albert Kahn in 1902, and housed Detroit's oldest Jewish congregation until 1922.
