Henry Linville

Henry Linville was president of the Teachers' Union of New York City in 1916 and served as president and executive director until 1935.  Mr. Linville also worked as editor of The American Teacher, the official newspaper of the American Federation of Teachers, during this period.  In 1931 he was elected president of the AFT and acted in that capacity until 1934.
