Reuther Library Closure: January 21-22, 2025

The Reuther Library and Wayne State University will be closed Tuesday January 21 and Wednesday January 22nd, 2025 due to inclement weather.

While our building may be closed to research, staff will be working remotely and are happy to help assist your research needs. Please submit your questions to reutherreference@wayne.edu and we will answer as soon as we can. Stay safe!

The Reuther Library and Wayne State University will be closed Monday January 20, 2025 in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

We hope you'll take the time to reflect on Dr. King's life and work. Our collections offer some opportunities:

Winter Break Closure: December 24, 2024 - January 1, 2025

Our final day of service in the Reading Room this year is Monday, December 23rd. Beginning at noon on December 24, the Reuther Library and Wayne State University will close for winter break. We will reopen with our regular hours starting January 2, 2025. Please feel free to submit reference questions at reutherreference@wayne.edu and we will get back to you when we return.

Congratulations to Harriet Berg -- 100 years young

The Reuther Library extends its congratulations to Harriet Berg on becoming a centenarian this month. Berg has been a choreographer, teacher, performer and arts advocate in the Detroit area for many decades, especially known for her historical dance companies, the Madame Cadillac Dancers and the Renaissance Dance Company.  read more »
