Tom Fitzpatrick writes to Joe Ames, AFSCME Secretary-Treasurer, that Ames's speech at the Michigan Leadership Conference inspired attendees to pass a resolution (attached) calling on Michigan Locals and Councils to make donations to support the Memphis Sanitation Workers on strike.
