High school senior Carolyn Gerhardt displays her exhibit at the 1966 International Science Fair. Gerhardt's project, "Amminization of Transition Metal Sulfates," won a First Place ISF award in Chemistry and Gerhardt was awarded a $25 bond from the Society of Women Engineers Chicago Section.
