AFSCME leader and organizer Lillian Roberts had been jailed after leading a strike of New York state hospital workers. Then Governor Nelson Rockefeller jailed her for breaking the Taylor Law which prohibits strikes. Here, supporting AFSCME members demand Roberts's release.
