(7686) Ring wearing earns suspension

Here are seven of the sixteen rings which earned their wearers suspensions from the State Hospital in Caro, Michigan in 1969. Members of AFSCME Local 831 were suspended for wearing personal rings at work despite having done so for years. The suspensions were deemed a bizarre attempt at union-busting.
