The United Farm Workers Organizing Committee (UFWOC) was formed in 1966 with the merger of the National Farm Workers Association and the Agricultural Workers Organizing Committee, and was the precursor to the United Farm Workers. Their records center mainly on their activities on behalf of California farm workers. Sometimes referred to by its initials UFWOC.
