Photographer's note: “A Nicaraguan family waits at sunset in Corinto to be taken aboard the hospital ship S.S.Hope. Project Hope now has shore clinics, and no longer uses the hospital ship, but they used this picture as a poster for several years. I went there and spent a week on the ship.”
