Thomas, president of the UAW; George Addes, UAW secretary-treasurer; and Richard Leonard, leader of the Ford organizing drive for the UAW are booked at the Dearborn police headquarters for defying a local ordinance that prohibited leafleting. At the far right (with pipe) is the union’s attorney, Maurice Sugar.
