AFSCME administrator for Council 77 in Detroit, Michigan, William Lucy (right) presents a check for $500 from AFSCME International to the Reverend William S. Logan, executive director of the Interfaith Emergency Council, to assist areas of Detroit affected by the 1967 riots. Looking on are the Reverend William Willis, pastor of the First Congressional Church, and Joe Ganaway, AFSCME staff representative.
