(27919) Ciampa Scholarship

At a luncheon in Baltimore, AFSCME presented Mrs. Ciampa with a plaque commemorating the work of her late husband, P.J. Ciampa, an AFSCME organizing leader for 27 years. Ciampa worked tirelessly for the International as well as for Maryland Council 67. AFSCME also presented the University of Baltimore with $40,000 to establish a scholarship in Ciampa’s name for AFSCME members and their children.
