In 1972, 4,000 garment workers in El Paso, TX struck Farah Manufacturing Company for union representation. The campaign earned national support from the AFL-CIO in the form of boycotting Farah products. Here, AFSCME Secretary-Treasurer William Lucy and other AFSCME members picket in support of Farah employees.
