AFSCME Memphis Local 1733 march in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. in 1979 on the 11th anniversary of Dr. King's assassination. Labor and civil rights leaders such as Reverend Ralph Jackson, Local 1733 Director Taylor Rogers, and AFSCME President Jerry Wurf, and Congressman Harold Ford, Sr. lead the march.
